2006 Taurus announced  the formation of Taurus Tactical, a new division addressing itself to Military, Police, State and Federal agencies involved in anti-terrorism activities, Homeland Defense and private and industrial security. The product range includes duty pistol and revolvers, submachine guns, assault rifles, riot gear and ballistic body protection.
